Back in July we posted information on "Waking Dreams," a traveling art exhibition devoted to the Pre-Raphaelites, which was on at the Frick in Pittsburgh this summer. The exhibition has now moved to Ohio, where it's opening today at The Cincinnati Art Museum. Along with the show (which runs through January 1), the museum is offering an art history class looking at the Pre-Raphaelites and the Cult of Beauty, beginning November 4th. (And while you're at the C.A.M., be sure to catch Nature Moderns: Georgia O'keeffe and her Contemporaries, which is on through January 14.)
The next two stops for the Pre-Raphaelite show are the St. Louis Art Museum in Missouri (Feb. 1 -- April 1, 2007) and the San Diego Museum of Art in California (May 19 -- July 29, 2007). Too far from any of these places to visit "Waking Dreams"? Then take a web tour of the exhibition here.
